A plush, quiet used-luxury bargain whose thirsty V6, dated infotainment, and missing crash ratings keep it strictly in value-buy territory.
Not enough recall data to judge yet, so this is scored as middle-of-the-road. Adjusted -2 points for its wider reputation.

About $3,250 a year in fuel (EPA estimate) — cheaper to run than about 20% of cars we track.
32.3 cu ft of cargo space — more than about 75% of other SUVs we track.
Roomy two-row midsize cabin with generous rear legroom for four adults.
Soft-riding luxury crossover with numb steering and a coarse 3.7L V6; tuned for isolation, not engagement.
