How it scores for you10 scores
A 1,000-hp electric spectacle that out-drags sports cars and crab-walks sideways - equal parts engineering flex and 9,000-lb depreciating indulgence.
Recalled somewhat less often than cars of the same model years; 1 of its 8 recalls was serious. Based on recalls and serious defect reports — it doesn't capture everyday repairs or problems fixed by warranty extensions. Adjusted -5 points for its wider reputation.
Not yet crash-tested by NHTSA, so this is scored as middle-of-the-road.
About $1,400 a year in fuel (EPA estimate) — cheaper to run than about 86% of cars we track.
Cargo volume isn't published for this car.
Wide, roomy five-seat cab, though the thick body and high floor eat more space than the outside suggests.
Absurd 1,000-hp launches, CrabWalk, and four-wheel steer make it an event, though 9,000-plus lbs is always present in corners.
UltraVision underbody cameras, adaptive air suspension, Super Cruise - a rolling GM tech flagship.
Air-sprung ride is impressively civil for the mass, but big tires drum and the removable roof panels let in wind noise.
EVs have typically lost value the fastest.
Rated to tow 7,500 lb; all- or four-wheel drive available.
